Are you compassionate, empathetic, and looking to make a real difference in your community? Nottinghamshire Victim Care, delivered by Remedi, is looking for dedicated volunteers to support people who have been affected by crime and anti-social behaviour.
We take a proactive, flexible, and person-centred approach to supporting victims – offering emotional and practical help via phone, text, online, or face-to-face. Every individual’s experience is different, and we tailor our support to meet their unique needs.
As a Volunteer, You Can:
- Offer a listening ear and emotional support to those impacted by crime
- Help individuals access specialist services and support agencies
- Support with practical needs, including Criminal Injuries Compensation claims
- Be a vital part of someone’s journey to recovery and empowerment
Opportunities Include:
- Initial contact and needs assessments
- Ongoing one-to-one mentoring
- Supporting children and young people
- Community engagement and outreach
This is a chance to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and be part of a meaningful cause – all while helping others rebuild their confidence and well-being.
